Food is another big box that Ohla Eixample ticks. The main restaurant is Michelin-starred, with a strong focus on fresh, local produce. Less formal, but equally as tasty eats can be found in the tapas bar, with a menu inspired by the main restaurant’s offering. Visit between April and October and you can even take your dinner on the rooftop Sky Bar terrace – cocktails optional.
With so much going on at the hotel, you may decide not to venture out at all. If you do, some of the main sights such as La Rambla and La Sagrada Familia are within about 20 minutes’ walk. You’ll also be staying right in the middle of one of Barcelona’s premier shopping districts, so make sure you leave room in your suitcase for some spoils.
